Decorative Malachite Obelisk

This decorative obelisk exhibits superior craftsmanship with its unique, luxurious composition of hand-painted paper featuring a malachite motif by artist, Thomas Engelhart.

Hailing from Charleston, South Carolina, Engelhart mastered his keen eye for details while crafting garments for illustrious brands like Thierry Mugler and Hermès at Studio Berçot in Paris in the nineties.

Engelhart's creations combine vintage aesthetics and modern practicality, utilizing recycled paper for their exteriors.  An array of marbled, speckled, and malachite papers adorn the artisanship of each box, tabletop, and mirror.
